Service was completed in a timely manner and everyone was very friendly. Repairs were completed to satisfaction and they dealt with carvana for me as well. Even found another repair that wasn’t noted by the mazda dealer a week or two before. However, after service, my tires began to wear incorrectly. Two tires were completely bald on the outer edge and wearing normally elsewhere. They were continentals and fairly new so I’m pretty irritated that they needed replaced so soon due to an alignment not being completed and no one letting me know that was something I needed to have done. They did pay for an alignment as part of their warranty/guarantee on work performed, but either way I’m out of $350 on new tires. I appreciated that they worked with me to cover the wheel alignment. If you're using this shop for front/back end work, just be aware they do not perform alignments here.

My partner bought a used car, CarZip is one of the shops the warranty company works with. We took it in for a full diagnostic once we noticed some things were off. I do appreciate CarZip working with the warranty company. They had the vehicle for 3 days for repairs. When we picked it up we specifically asked them about the grinding noise the steering column was making. We were told that it wasn't making any noise anymore. That noise was infact still there when we started driving. We picked the car up as they were closing so we decided to call them the next day. CarZip does have their own 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on the work they do, that did give us some comfort. The next day while my partner was driving a part broke. It pulled them into the lane next to them, then the steering column incessantly shook, and some sort of fluid was spewing. We took it back to CarZip, turns out it was the half shaft. I don't fully understand why but we ended up buying the part from AutoZone ourselves. When I picked the car up the second time, the steering wheel no longer made the grinding noise. Not only are we frustrated that we took it in for a full diagnostic, we picked it up and it was obviously still broken, and broke (in a manner that could have caused a wreck) the next day. To us, the guy who handed customer service (Thunder) was unprofessional. He might be someone else's cup of tea. He gave his life's story, talked about religion, refered to my partner as brother. When I picked up the car the second time I asked if it still made the noise, he said the tech said no. I gave him a "are you sure" look. He responded by going into how he feels like everyone is mad at him. That he goes above and beyond for his customers. Complained about my partner and other clients being frustrated with him. Not once did he apologize to me that this happened. Just said stuff like he can't control when parts break and supply of parts.

Highly recommend for any auto issues or routine repairs and maintenance! I’ve never been very knowledgeable with cars, so dealerships and big auto shops make me nervous, but Car Zip made me feel comfortable and at ease. Thunder and the mechanics were very through and kept me in-the-know throughout the whole process of diagnosis and repair for my vehicle. I was especially impressed since I drive a foreign car that normally requires extra money, extra work, and long wait times for parts, but the people at Car Zip stayed on it and kept me updated all the way. Great service and fair pricing! Thunder communicated by text with me, keeping me updated on what was happening. Mazda dealership was more expensive, cold, and couldn't look at my car for several days. CarZip was able to diagnose the problem the next day, and took another day to repair. It was worth the long tow to get such great service.

I originally thought it was maybe my driving (never had this issue before with three other cars but whatever), so when they sent the follow up text, I inquired on whether an alignment was completed and let them know the issue I was having. No response. Followed up a few days later and still nothing. Makes me feel like they know they messed up somewhere. Replacing tires today so we’ll see what comes of that.
